Belt Creek Bicycle Race,
Ideal weather greeted 76
bicycle racers at Saturday's Belt Creek Bicycle Race. The event opened with a 5
mile time trial up Stockett Hill. The women's TT results
were very close with seven racers within 30 seconds of each other, led by Becky
Nelson of the Great Falls Bicycle Club. After a sponsored lunch of Subway subs
and Great Harvest cookies, the racers headed to Belt for the afternoon's main
event, a 42 mile road race. In the Masters 40+ category, Rich West (
Double special thanks to
those who competed and helped. "High Fives" all
around.
