Bike racing/cyclocross fans!

Come join the fun on Sunday, November 14 at Helena High School in Helena for the State Cyclocross Championships. Registration is from 10:30-11:30 am and race entry is $17. Race will start at noon. One day licenses available for $5.

Kids are welcome to bring their bikes and ride around. If there is enough participation, we’ll have a kids’ ride directly after the finish of the main race.

Directions: Highway 12 basically winds through the city of Helena; east/west on either side and north/south in the middle. Helena High School is on the north/south stretch on Montana Ave. You can’t miss it. Just enter from the north side and find parking on the inner portion of the parking lot.

Course details: Basically, similar course as years past. Approx. 40% of the circuit is fast pavement around the HHS parking lot (weather permitting). Also includes sections of winding grass and asphalt sidewalks, one set of barriers, 2 sets of leg busting stairs followed by some short quick descents, and this year, possibly some sand.

Misc. details: Registration is in the school cafeteria and changing/bathrooms are across the hall. I’m working on trying to secure use of the showers. Prizes will be medals and some gas money. MBRA Event Number Requirement Applies. Race Length: Approximately 1 hour
