RACE DESCRIPTION: The out-and-back course will be the same as last years. It follows remote secondary roads through rural areas west of the town of Fairfield, MT in the shadow of the Rocky Mountain Front. The course follows scenic, smooth, lightly traveled highways through rolling terrain with a few climbs near the halfway point.

Distances: Category 2,3 – 74 miles. Other Categories – 52 miles

CITIZEN’S RACE: Anyone with a helmet and a bicycle is invited to join the event and race on a shorter course. The road is a mostly flat, smooth, lightly traveled rural road located west of Fairfield. Start time for citizen racers is 11:10 am. Distance is 34 miles. Registration fee is only $10 (citizens only) which includes a USCF One-Day racing license.

DIRECTIONS: Stage at City Park on the East side of Fairfield. The park is located on the east end of Main Street. Registration opens at 10:00 am. The Cat 1, 2, 3’s start at 11:00 am followed by the remaining categories. Awards after the race at O’Henry’s Bar & Cafe on Main Street.

INCREASING CASH PURSE: If 40 to 49 USCF racers register, the cash purse will increase to $400. For 50 to 59, total purse will be $500. Similar increases for increments of 10 riders thereafter.

MISCELLANEOUS: Montana Cup Points Series Event. USA Cycling rules apply. Total registration fee $15.00. Race day registration only. All ages and abilities are eligible to enter.
