The old Cow Country Classic course provides an epic championship road race course so get ready for one or two laps on this semi-mountainous loop. Category Pro, 1, 2, 3 complete two laps for a 102 mile total distance. All others complete one lap for 54 miles.
DIRECTIONS
: Stage at the Holter Lake Road access parking area located 3 miles east of Wolf Creek on Recreation Road. Registration opens at 10:00 am. The Pro, 1, 2 3 group starts first at 10:45. All other groups start at 11:20 from the staging area. Distances are 102 miles for Sr 2,3 and 54 miles for all other groups. Groups will be separated or combined on race day depending on field size. Entry fee is $15.COURSE DESCRIPTION: Racers proceed west from the staging area to Wolf Creek, then northwest on MT 434 to MT 200, turn right on MT 200 to US 287, then right on US 287 to finish line atop 1 km uphill. Pro, 1, 2, 3 proceed onto I-15 to Wolf Creek for another lap.
REGISTRATION: Race day registration only will be accepted. One day licenses are available. Anyone with a bicycle is encouraged to participate. Entry fee is $15, this includes USCF insurance surcharge.
RACE RULES: Centerline rule will be enforced, including at the finish. All USA Cycling Rules apply. Racers MUST obey all traffic laws.
AWARDS: District Championship Medals will be awarded to the top finishers in each category and age group.
