RESULTS FROM MONTANA SUPER CUP CYCLOCROSS NUMBER ONE
The first race in the Montana Super Cup cyclocross series began on
Sunday with a good turnout of 23 riders. Mark "Dirty Kiwi" Legg
established his lead early on the first lap and never looked back,
lapping all but six riders by the finish. Chad Devall from Hamilton
outlasted Jake "Mega Watt" Hartsoch of Missoula for second with an
impressive surge at the halfway point. In the women's race, Margie Legg
used her off-road experience to best first time crossers Jennifer Carey
and Eryn Hanna.
Northern Rockies would not have been able to put on this race without
the help of Jeff Crouch, Randy Ristau, Jon Berman, Amber Lowery and most
importantly Carl "Big Daddy" Ammons. Thanks to all who came out!
