FAIRFIELD ROAD RACE RESULTS- MAY 8, 1999

The "Fairfield Road Race" was held May 8, 1999, in the shadow of the

snow-covered Rocky Mountain Front. Weather was ideal for Bicycle Racing with

light winds, blue skies, and cool temperatures. The races were action packed

from the start with several long "breakaways" and continuous tactical

maneuvering among the Bozeman, Billings, Missoula, and Great Falls racing

teams. Brink Kuchenbrod of Montana Velo won the 78 mile Men's race saying,

"this is the best road course I've raced on in a long time." Thanks to our
